Kawah Putih, Gunung Patuha, Bandung, Indonesia

My usual trip to Jakarta and Bandung in Indonesia had always for shopping spree and meeting relatives and friends. Well in my recent trip in February 2011, I decided to go for some sight seeing in Bandung. Normally the tourist attraction will be Mount Tangkuban Perahu, volcanic crater in south of Bandung which I have been there twice and so this time around Kawah Putih in north Bandung will be my next visit. It is situated 2,434m from  sea level. Pictures below showed the greenish-white volcanic crater lake.

 

Patchwork

Patchwork is most often used to make quilts, clothes, bags, wall-hangings and accessories. Have you ever thought of using patchwork as a design for your furniture. As you can see pictures below are truly inspired me. I love how this pieces of fabric that sewed together to make sofa cover, bed frame and etc. gives a vintage look yet so vibrant in colors. This patchwork furniture would definitely will be in my home one day. Insyaallah.
