Gold Coast [July 2011] - Day 1

Hi all, i am writing about my recent trip to Gold Coast, Queensland in Australia. We traveled by Air Asia X, departed from LCCT, KL at 9.25pm and arrived in Coologata Airport, GC at 7.25am [local time] 8 hours flight. When we arrived it was 13 degree Celsius, it was cold and we put on our jacket [winter month in Aussie]. We got through the airport checking smoothly. We declared all food that we brought in and luckily there was no dog when they checked our bags. Then collected our unlimited travel pass on surfside and shuttle theme park for 7 days [including airport transfer] that we booked online.

Checked in into our 3 bedrooms Condor Oceanview Apartment at Surfers Paradise. Freshen up ourselves and had our cooked maggi for breakfast and then walked along surfers paradise stores and headed to Harbour Town

We took our bus ride and carried all groceries from Harbour Town to Surfers Paradise. What an experience!

EPL teams in Kuala Lumpur

Hi readers, been a while since my last post. Anyway i just wanna share with you guys that this week is the EFF (English Football Fever) in Malaysia. 3 EPL (English Premier League) teams, ARSENAL-LIVERPOOL-CHELSEA are in KL. Malaysia xi or better know as Harimau Malaya to play with the teams in friendly matches during this week. Well actually last night they had their first game, Malaysia vs Arsenal. It was very exciting game. Anyway, i can't wait for this saturday's match. Malaysia vs Liverpool. As i am updating this blog, the teams are doing their training at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil. Well as much as i love LFC i also hope that our national players will score goals in the match. All the best to all the teams and to all supporters you all rock (the stadium). Till we meet again.  x.o.x.o

Kawah Putih, Gunung Patuha, Bandung, Indonesia

My usual trip to Jakarta and Bandung in Indonesia had always for shopping spree and meeting relatives and friends. Well in my recent trip in February 2011, I decided to go for some sight seeing in Bandung. Normally the tourist attraction will be Mount Tangkuban Perahu, volcanic crater in south of Bandung which I have been there twice and so this time around Kawah Putih in north Bandung will be my next visit. It is situated 2,434m from  sea level. Pictures below showed the greenish-white volcanic crater lake.

 

Patchwork

Patchwork is most often used to make quilts, clothes, bags, wall-hangings and accessories. Have you ever thought of using patchwork as a design for your furniture. As you can see pictures below are truly inspired me. I love how this pieces of fabric that sewed together to make sofa cover, bed frame and etc. gives a vintage look yet so vibrant in colors. This patchwork furniture would definitely will be in my home one day. Insyaallah.
